I'd like to take part in more challenges this year, this is one of my New Year's resolutions. I discovered the Stamping 411 blog a few days ago and decided to give the Saturday Sketch Challenge #132 a go. Click here to visit the Saturday Sketch Challenge #132 - the page will open in a new window.
The SU! 'Trendy Trees' set was one of my Christmas gifts and I'm loving it so far! The card is made with SU! Kraft CS and I embossed the Old Olive CS with the Victoria Cuttlebug folder and added some brown stitched ribbon. I used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp the tree trunks after stamping the tree tops and then used circle punches. The circles are popped up. To finish off this CAS card, I added an olive crystal to the flower in the 'you' sentiment.
Supplies:
Stamps: SU! Trendy Trees set, sentiment from SU! Wow Flowers set
CS: SU! Kraft, Old Olive, Really Rust, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip & Very Vanilla
Ink: SU! Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Really Rust & Ruby Red
Tools: Victoria Cuttlebug folder , 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" circle punches, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig
Embellishments & accessories: Brown stitched ribbon, olive crystal, 3d foam pads
Ruth,
ReplyDeleteI love the color combination for your thank you card. The four elements work perfectly with this challenge. Thank you for sharing.
