It is so nice to see spring flowers blooming after winter, seeing brightly coloured crocuses just puts a smile on my face and our miniature daffodils are fully out in the front garden - love those! I saw that this week's Make My Monday challenge was to make a 'spring flowers' card and I decided to play along using my tulips set.
I stamped the stems and flowers, trimmed the panel into a square, stamped the Weathered background stamp over the top and sponged the edges. I've used Pale Plum and Old Olive CS for my mat layers. I added some sparkle by applying glitter glue to the tulips. I used the Word Window and Modern Label punches for my sentiment but cut off the end so I had a straight edge and added a rhinestone. The card measures 5 1/4" (13.5 cms) square.
More stamped tulips for the inside of the card and the envelope flap.
Spring flowers always look so much better and brighter when the sun is shining - let's hope that happens over the weekend! It's very grey and chilly today, oh well, perfect weather for staying in and stamping LOL!
