I came across this fab card on Pinterest and knew it was a card I wanted to CASE. I loved the layout, colour combo and the layered stamping on the circle. I decided to use the flowers from the Vintage Vogue set rather than a butterfly on my card. That's always a tough choice for me - flowers or butterflies? I suppose my ideal card would feature both LOL!
The card measures 13 cms (a tad over 5") square and was made with Night of Navy CS. I stamped the French Script stamp in Marina Mist ink, die cut a circle and stamped the flourishes and sentiment. I inked the flowers with Marina Mist ink, rock 'n rolled in Night of Navy ink, cut out the flowers, added some shaping and added blue iridescent gems to the flower centres. I mounted the Very Vanilla plain circle onto a Marina Mist scalloped circle. I embossed a square vanilla panel with the Vintage Wallpaper folder and matted that onto Bashful Blue and vanilla layers. I then wrapped some Night of Navy ribbon around and attached the panel to the card base. I adhered the circle, made a bow and attached that to the card with a glue dot. The large flower is popped up.
Here's the inside and envelope with some simple stamping and punching. We've just come back from a few days away in the New Forest and Kath, our lovely neighbour, fed and looked after our two cats while we were gone. This card will go to Kath along with some goodies we got for her.
