Birdie & Leaves Thank You Card - Simply Stampin' Oct Colour Challenge

It's colour combo time at Simply Stampin' and these are the colours we'd like you to use for your creations this week.  Don't worry if you don't have these exact colours, you can still play along, just substitute similar shades.

With getting ready for, and then running, card group this week I was later in getting a card made for the challenge than usual.  I got home from card group and had just finished putting everything away when my SU! delivery arrived.  Yay, new goodies to use to make my challenge card!

I've made a 4 3/4" square thank you card using Night of Navy CS and the very sweet Four Seasons hostess stamp set.  Love the circles, birdies and seasonal images in this set!  I used some other fab new goodies on the card - the 2 1/2" circle punch, a Finishing Touches Edgelits die, Wild Wasabi stitched ribbon and the sentiment is from the Embellished Events set.  I inked the circle stamp with Wild Wasabi ink and added some Rich Razzleberry colour with a sponge dauber.  I inked the birdie circle using markers, punched it out with a circle punch and popped it up over a punched Razzleberry 1 1/4" scalloped circle.  I inked the leaf stamp with Wild Wasabi ink, rock 'n rolled in Rich Razzleberry, cut them out and popped them up.  I stamped the sentiment on the die cut border, glued that to the card and added the ribbon.

Here's the inside and the envelope with more seasonal leafy stamping.  I'd love to come and see what you make so I hope you'll join in with our challenge this week!
