We have a colour combo for our challenge this week at 52 {C}CT and Danielle has picked an unusual - but interesting - combo for Christmas cards I think!
I stamped the Christmas Village image onto Whisper White CS with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and I added colour to a few windows with Daffodil Delight ink and a blender pen. I layered the image panel onto Soft Suede and Early Espresso mats. I stamped the sentiment, adhered a strip of Daffodil Delight ribbon and added a bow. I then added Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter to various snowy parts of the image.
The glitter is white, there's some sparkle but there's no colour in it. Here's a close up photo so you can see it better. Looks good as snow I think!
I was a tad stumped as to what to do for the inside and the envelope at first. I had a rootle in my paper stash and found some Bo Bunny Snowfall paper - problem solved! I used an MFT die to cut the Soft Suede chevron stripes.
I can't wait to see what you come up with for this colour combo, I'm looking forward to visiting your blogs to see your cards! Don't forget to look at the fab inspiration on offer from the rest of the DT before you get inky and take part in the challenge!
