I used the Memory Box Grand Madison Window die to make the wardrobe, I cut two shapes, did some trimming and joined them together. I then cut white rectangles as doors, added silver brads as door knobs and popped the doors up. I then added punched ovals as panelling details. I made the 5 3/4" square card base from Elegant Eggplant CS. I embellished the dresses with Elegant Eggplant ribbon and Vintage Faceted buttons threaded with white baker's twine (although I left the button off the polka dot dress). I cut one silver dress form and placed one dress on that, hung another dress over the wardrobe door and hooked the third dress over the hanger of the second dress. I was chuffed to find that my old QuicKutz hanger die is the perfect size for these dresses! I thought a matching handbag hanging from the wardrobe door knob would be a sweet touch! I stamped the sentiment in Elegant Eggplant ink onto Wisteria Wonder CS, cut it out and glued it flat to the card front.
Here's the inside with a sentiment, polka dot patterned paper and punched flowers with silver nailhead centres.
More polka dots on the front of the envelope finished everything off. After I'd made the card I thought a woodgrain patterned wardrobe would be great next time. However, I'm not sure the next time will be any time soon! This could well be a one-off, never to be repeated design - it was a really fun card to make but very time consuming!
