I thought these were the perfect colours to use with my lilacs stamp set, I haven't used it in a long time and I was very happy to get it inky again. I stamped the stem in full strength Old Olive ink, the leaves in stamped off once Olive ink, the solid lilacs in Pale Plum ink and the outline lilacs in Perfect Plum ink. I embossed a piece of Wisteria Wonder CS with the Fancy Fan folder, added two strips of Old Olive striped organdy ribbon and glued the panel to an Old Olive A6 card base. I stamped the 'thanks' on a piece of white CS and stamped the solid lilacs image over the top in stamped off once Pale Plum ink. I used Nestie dies to cut out the ovals and I popped them up on the card front. I then cut two Perfect Plum flowers using the SU! Floral Fusion die, added some shaping, glued the two flowers together and placed a candy dot in the centre.
Here's the inside and the envelope. That lilac image is gorgeous, I do love two-step stamped florals, they make me one happy stamper!

ReplyDeleteI love lilacs and this image is absolutely beautiful! I love how you stamped it in different colored inks, could you tell me how you do that? You put the different inks on your stamp and stamp once or do you do stamp several times, each time with one ink?
ReplyDeleteStunning - I need that stamp! Love the colours you have used and as usual your composition is perfect - Jacqueline xx
