I knew I didn't have any actual canvas but thanks to my sweet friend Lesley loaning me her SU! Canvas background stamp I was able to go faux! Thank you very much Lesley! I made a 5 3/4" square Crumb Cake card base and adhered a square of patterned paper layered onto an Early Espresso mat. I stamped the snowman onto Very Vanilla CS with Early Espresso ink and then stamped the Canvas background over the top with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I die cut the circle and sponged the edges with Antique Linen ink. I die cut Early Espresso and Champagne Glimmer Paper circle mat layers, popped a couple of the layers up and added some punched snowflakes. I completed the card front by adding large and small punched photo corners.
I cut a Very Vanilla panel for inside the card, stamped the Canvas stamp, added patterned paper and glimmer paper strips at the bottom and sponged the edges. I stamped the sentiment (one of my faves!) and added three punched snowflakes.
Here's the back of the envelope with a popped up stamped and die cut snowflake on circle layers.
Do check out the fab cards made by the other DT members and then please play along with us this week at 52 {C}CT, I'd love to come and see your Christmas canvas creations!
