Butterflies Happy Thoughts Card - Inkspirational Sept Colour Challenge (#36)

This week at Inkspirational we have a colour challenge for you.

I've used SU! Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sky along with crisp white.  I love it when I see dry embossing on white CS, it's such a subtle look but I always find it very appealing.  Not easy to capture in a photograph though!  I started off by embossing my A6 card base with a butterflies folder, I stamped the sentiment and added the ribbon.  Then I used the lovely SU! Beautiful Wings Embosslits die to cut several coloured butterflies.  I glued them to the card front so the wings were popped up and I added coloured gems to the bodies.

Here's a closer view of the butterfly embossing.

A sentiment and more butterflies and gems finished off the card and envelope.

I do hope you'll play along with us at Inkspirational this week and use this bright and cheery combo to make something crafty!  I'm looking forward to seeing what you make!
