I do love these colours together, I guess they're not traditional Christmas colours but I think they work really well for Christmas cards, a bit of a change from the traditional red and green at any rate! I opted to use SU! Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Perfect Plum and then I used some patterned paper for the pinky purple colour. I layered the patterned paper onto a Pale Plum mat, punched each corner, added a strip of ribbon, layered onto a Rich Razzleberry mat and adhered that to the front of an Old Olive 5 3/4" square card base. I die cut a few large snowflakes and stacked them to get dimension and I offset the Razzleberry snowflake over the top of a white one. I popped up an Old Olive punched circle and added a gorgeous 'Crystal Sparkler' embellishment. I stamped and die cut the sentiment label and popped that and the snowflake up. I punched tiny snowflakes to accent the corners and added a gem to each snowflake centre.
Here's the inside and the envelope with more snowflakes and more of that very pretty patterned paper!
I hope you'll join us at 52 {C}CT this week and make a card featuring this lovely combo of colours - you know it will feel so good to add another card to the Christmas card stash! There's fabulous inspiration from the DT so please do check out their cards before you go off to create!
