Hello There Flip Card

During July we had a blog hop over at 52 {C}CT and there were prizes donated by the DT members hidden along the way of the hop.  For the chance to win a prize we asked people to leave a comment on the blog hop posts of each DT member plus the original 52 {C}CT challenge post.  The winner of my prize was Meg from Bits and Pieces.

Naturally, I had to make a card to accompany the prize!  Here's the card, envelope and wrapped prize all ready to be sent off.  After I'd made the card and envelope I decided to wrap the prize goodies in the patterned paper I'd used on the card.  I finished off by tying some Bermuda Bay taffeta ribbon around the package.

I've just acquired a set of Sizzix Flip-Its Framelits dies that enable you to create flip cards so I was excited to try my new purchase.  I cut the card base from SU! Rose Red CS and used other dies in the set to cut the patterned paper panels - I LOVE the fact that dies for this purpose are included in the set!  I heat embossed the 'hello there' with white embossing powder and then got busy die cutting and punching a pot, leaves, flowers and butterflies.

Here's the card open so you can see the back side of the flip panel.

Here's the back where I wrote my message.

I made a matching envelope and popped up a name label on the front.

It was fun shopping for the prize items and I hope Meg enjoys the mixed Christmas crafting goodies I selected!
