I made a 5 3/4" square card and I've turned the layout upside down and made the rectangular shape with a bow into a Christmas gift! I cut my rectangle of holly patterned paper and die cut the ribbon strip and bow using the back side of the holly paper. I kept the shapes in place inside the dies and embossed using a tan mat to get more detail on the shapes. I stamped the holly a few times on the card front in Cherry Cobbler ink for a tone on tone look. I embossed Always Artichoke CS with a lattice folder and matted onto a Very Vanilla layer. I popped up the gift, stamped and die cut the sentiment label and finished off the front with a sprinkling of gold gems.
More stamped holly went inside and on the envelope flap. The sentiment was stamped and then die cut using a new Sentiment Tag die set - picked up from my local craft shop, the Glitter Pot, at half price - I do love a bargain!
It's a great layout so do take the opportunity to add another Christmas card to your box by playing along with our 52 {C}CT April sketch challenge. I look forward to seeing your creations!
