Flower Sparkle Hello

Hello and welcome to my Flower Sparkle blog! I love putting flowers and sparkle on my cards so Flower Sparkle seemed a very apt name.

For my first post, I am showing my Flower Sparkle Hello card. This is my version of a card I saw on display at the Glitter Pot. I loved the colour scheme and that gorgeous flourish stem - so, of course, I had to add that die to my collection!

I die cut two flowers, one from the green Bazzill card and one from the patterned paper and then offset them. I sewed the button onto the folded piece of ribbon using linen thread and attached it with a glue dot. For the flower centre, I punched a 3/4" circle and arranged a pattern of crystals on the top.

Supplies:
CS: SU! Old Olive, Bazzill Saguaro, Bashful and Sassy
Patterned Paper: Daisy Bucket - Posh Posies, Groovy
Tools: Sizzix Bigz Flourish Floral die, Cuttlebug Cut & Emboss A2 Combo Everyday Greetings set (for the die cut hello), Square Nestabilities dies, 3/4" circle punch
Embellishments: Anita's ribbon, button and linen thread, clear Swarovski crystals

I love this die. I have been looking for a flourish die. Such pretty color combo. I think this is a signature Ruth card. Really nice job...
