I always think if you want an elegant card then a black and white combo is an excellent start. I came across these lovely thank you cards made by Dawn Olchefske and just had to make my own version. I also came across this YouTube video from Christine Miller showing a tip for using the Designer Frames embossing folders without getting the lines from the outline of the folder around the embossing. I was eager to try that out too - and it works a treat!
So here's my version of Dawn's card - I've matted and layered rather than making a one layer card. I popped up the Hello oval and added 3 of the tiny flowers from the Fresh Vintage set. I punched them out with a 1/2" circle punch, added jewel centres and popped the centre circle up.
Some simple stamping on the inside of the card and on the envelope front - I do love adding a punched postage stamp to an envelope, it just really appeals to me for some reason!
