Delicate Doilies Thank You For Margaret

This is a doilies card I made for my friend Margaret to say thank you for her Stampin' Up! order.  I used my new doilies goodies - the Delicate Doilies stamp set and the Delicate Doilies large Sizzlits die.  Hmmmm, I seem to have gone dotty for doilies!

The card base (a tad under 4 1/4" square) was made from Primrose Petals CS and the mat layer is Midnight Muse.  I stamped three doilies, cut them out with circle punches, layered them and matted onto a Midnight Muse circle.  I then matted that onto the pretty Primrose Petal die cut doily and I popped that up.  I placed a sweet Midnight Muse dahlia in the centre to finish off the front.

I stamped more doilies inside and on the envelope - the ones inside were stamped off and the ones on the envelope were stamped full strength.  I inked the sentiment stamp with markers to get the two tone effect.
