Rosy Thank You Card - FMS67 Challenge

I came across a card that someone had made for the latest Freshly Made Sketches challenge and I just loved the layout as soon as I saw it and decided I had to play along.

I decided to use flowers rather than hearts and I used some new stamps, the gorgeous SU! Stippled Blossoms set.  I started off by making a Pink Pirouette 5 1/4" square card and then got busy inking and cutting.  I used Old Olive ink stamped off and then full strength for the leaves, the large flower was stamped with Pink Pirouette and Regal Rose inks and for the small flowers I used Regal Rose and Raspberry Ripple inks.  Two step flower stamping and some fussy cutting result in me being one happy stamper!  For the Regal Rose scalloped border I used an Edgelits die with the matching embossing folder.  I added a strip of Old Olive ribbon to a piece of Raspberry Ripple CS and then added a thin strip of Old Olive CS above the panel.  I stamped the sentiment, glued the leaves and popped up the flowers.  To finish off the front I added rhinestone jewels to the scalloped border - this card is going to my friend Jan who loves her bling!

I used the small flower and leaves stamps to decorate the inside and the envelope.  What a lovely sketch to work with, I'm sure this could turn out to be a 'go-to' layout!
