Birdie Happy Anniversary Card
My friend Kath asked me to make an anniversary card for her and I thought the birdie with his heart shaped wing would be perfect! I've made this card very similar to the gnome card I made a little while ago.
I dug out some self adhesive gingham fabric paper and stamped the bird body onto that, I stamped the whole bird onto white CS, got fussy cutting and popped up the gingham piece. I coloured the beak with a black permanent ink pen and added a jewel for the eye. I stamped the heart wing a few times onto red dotty paper, fussy cut them and added Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details glitter glue to add sparkle. I stamped the clouds background, adhered that together with some grassy paper to a Crumb Cake panel and I added the die cut fence. I glued the whole panel to the Riding Hood Red 5 3/4" card base and popped up the bird. I generated the sentiment on the computer using the Sofia font, added the strip and popped up two hearts.
Here's the inside and the envelope flap. I punched some hearts and also added two hearts I'd stamped and fussy cut earlier. I stamped the sentiment onto the red dotty heart and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I hope Ian and Jan liked the card, I'm happy to say Kath did!
