Ladybirds Birthday Card - Inkspirational July Photo Challenge (#28)

For the second week of the month we have a photo challenge for you at Inkspirational.  A very sweet  photo it is too!

This photo prompted me to dig out my PTI Little Lady set that hasn't seen ink in a very long time!  Ladybirds also meant I could use a fave combo of red, black and white.  I made a side opening A6 landscape card from Real Red CS.  I stamped the trail in grey ink, stamped the ladybirds direct to the white panel and also stamped them separately.  I fussy cut the separate ladybirds, added Glossy Accents so they're very shiny and once they were dry I popped them up.  A sentiment, punched flowers and some black gems completed the card front.

Here's the inside and the envelope.

I hope you'll join in with our Inkspirational photo challenge this week, I'd love to visit your blogs to see what you've made!  Don't forget to check out the other DT members work today and our Weekend Warrior Sandie will post on Saturday too!

Stamps: PTI 'Little Lady' set, SU! 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set

Sweet! I really like the effect of the glossy accent on the ladybugs and it was a great idea to pop them up on foam. So clean, simple and very effective!
