Here's the inside of the original card.
I've used the SU! Stippled Blossoms set for my version and my colour combo is Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz. Here's the gatefold style card front - the card is kept closed by the circle slotting behind the popped up sentiment oval.
Here's the inside. The right hand side panel is made from a separate piece of CS that folds over the top. So you open the gatefold and then flip up that panel to reveal the message area.
Here's the card with the panel flipped open.
I decorated the envelope flap with Calypso Coral dotty paper and a flower and leaves on punched circles.
It's rare for me to go orangey but I wanted to try out my new Crisp Cantaloupe CS and ink and it goes beautifully with Calypso Coral and that happens to be one of Jan's favourite colours. I'm happy to say Jan loved the card and has already asked if she can come over for a crafty lesson to learn how to make one herself!
