Shirt Easel Card for Peter's Birthday

My great friend Kevin asked me to make a birthday card for him to give to his partner Peter and I decided on a shirt easel card. I've used SU! Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip CS and Bashful Blue Prints papers for this card. The card measures 5 1/2" square. I cut the teal CS to 11" x 5 1/2" and scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" to make the easel card.

I stamped the shirt on a piece of patterned paper, ran it through my Xyron to put adhesive on the back and stuck it to a piece of white CS to add a bit of strength. I then carefully trimmed the shirt. I used square Nesties for my layers - I even used my tiniest square Nestie die for the corner accent pieces. I added blue crystals as cuff links and then popped the shirt up. I love the look of this shirt, I think it looks like a Boden design!

I know it's corny, but I love using the "you shirtainly are terrific!" sentiment with this shirt stamp. The sentiment piece is popped up and is acting as my 'stop' to keep the card front in place. To finish off, I added teal photo corners.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampendous 'His Shirt', sentiment by Stampabilities
CS: SU! Taken with Teal, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Patterned paper: SU! Bashful Blue Prints Designer Series Paper pack
Ink: SU! Chocolate Chip
Tools: Xyron 510 machine, square Nestabilities dies, Sizzix Sizzlits Photo Corners #2 die
Embellishments & accessories: Blue Swarovski crystals, 3d foam pads
