Blue Brayered Card Thanks Easel Card for Jack

I was so taken with the blue brayered easel card we made at Joanne's S10 make and Take evening I couldn't wait to make another one. This card measures 4" square, I started with Bashful Blue CS measuring 8" x 4" and scored at 2" and 4". This card was sent to our good friend Jack to say thanks for Owen's birthday gift.

First off I stamped the flock of birds, then made the moon mask and brayered with Bashful Blue ink. Then I used torn Post It note sheets as masks for the hills and brayered with Not Quite Navy ink. I used the Pocket Silhouettes set again to stamp the foreground images.

For the sentiment I've used my new Nellie Multiframe oval dies I got from the Glitter Pot. I have several sets of Nestability dies but I've never bought ovals. The Nellie Multiframe set has 6 dies and they alternate between scalloped and plain ovals - at £7.99, I think they're great value! They are metal, just like Nesties and they work superbly. The smallest oval in the set has two holes for brads. I used a 'Kind Thanks' stamp but omitted the 'Kind' so the sentiment would fit on the oval. The sentiment panel is popped up.

Stamps: SU! Pocket Silhouettes & Thank You Kindly sets, Hobby Art Flock of Birds

Ink: SU! Bashful Blue & Not Quite Navy
Tools: Brayer, 1" circle punch, Nellie Multiframe Oval dies, corner rounder punch
