Pop Up Butterflies Easel Card for Michelle

This card was for Michelle at the Card Grotto to wish her well following an illness. I love these easel cards, pink and green colour combos, flowers, gems and I'm so chuffed that I now have my very own pop up butterfly punch - so a lot of my fave things on this card!

I used SU! Certainly Celery CS for the easel card. I cut it to 11" x 5 1/2" and scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". The front piece is 5 1/2" square. I used square Nesties for my layers. I punched the butterflies using celery CS and then die cut the squares, layering the celery squares over some larger deep pink CS squares.

The 'to you from me' sentiment is from the SU! Best Yet set. I added 3 Prima flowers to the sentiment square. The gorgeous patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Sultry collection. I swiped Choc Chip ink around both pieces of patterned paper before adhering them to the card. This time, I used two stacked buttons to act as a 'stop' to hold the front panel up.

I used the last of my beautiful ruffled deep pink Pebbles Inc. ribbon to tie around the base - this was a sweet gift from Michelle. To finish off, I added self adhesive gems to the butterfly bodies and the flower centres. I do hope it cheered Michelle up and that she feels much better soon!

Supplies:
Stamps: SU! Best Yet set
CS: SU! Certainly Celery & Pretty in Pink CS, PaperMania deep pink CS
Patterned paper: Basic Grey Sultry 6" x 6" pad
Ink: SU! Chocolate Chip
Tools: Tonic Studios Butterfly Flutter pop up punch, Square Nestabilities dies
Embellishments & accessories: Pebbles Inc. ruffled deep pink ribbon, Prima flowers, pink buttons, self adhesive gems

I mean does it cut through pretty thick card stock or only thin CS, does it cut well CS like Stampin Up's? I would love to know that! I still want it but is all this questions that have stop me from ordering one! so if you can answer this questions for me, that would be awesome!
