Welcome Home Card for Jim

Our neighbour Jim has spent several weeks in hospital following a heart attack and surgery. Hopefully, he will be back home later this week. I decided to make a little card to welcome him home and wish him a fast recovery. I thought the SU! Good Neighbors stamp set was perfect for a welcome home card. The little houses are so cute - you need to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to place the roofs on top though. I found the theme tune to the TV show Neighbours kept running through my head while making this - very annoying LOL!

The card is a standard A6 size made with Chocolate Chip CS. I stamped the houses, trees and cloud and then added some colour to the chimney pots and the end house with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a blender pen. I sponged on Bashful Blue ink and some Old Olive ink onto the trees. I tore a piece of Olive CS for the ground and after adhering that, I matted the panel onto a layer of Really Rust CS. For the sentiment I used die cut letters.

Supplies:
Stamps: SU! Good Neighbors SAB set
CS: SU! Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive & Really Rust
Ink: SU! Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Ruby Red, Really Rust & Bashful Blue
Tools: SU! Watercolor Wonder Crayons & blender pen, Sizzix Naturally Serif Alphabet Decorative Strip die, sponges, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig
