Today is World Card Making Day and I'm going to spend a few happy hours in my craft room - in fact, I'm hoping to stretch it out to the whole weekend! I saw the PPA62 All Buttoned Up challenge which was to use buttons on a clean and simple card and I really liked the sound of that.
I've made a wreath card using the fabulous SU! Medallion stamp and my fave colour at the moment, Rich Razzleberry. The card measures approx. 15 cms square. I've paired the Razzleberry with Mellow Moss as that goes well with the buttons I've used. I used a circle Nestie die to cut out the wreath centre and I've popped the wreath up. I used two sizes of buttons and threaded Very Vanilla CS strips through the buttonholes before attaching them to the wreath with glue dots.
The fancy corners were made with a Sizzix Sizzlits die. I cannot wait to get my hands on the SU! Photo Corner punch from the new UK catty, I've been waiting impatiently for it for 3 years! I love how the punch has two sizes of corner so you can layer if you want to - plus it will be so much quicker to punch out corners rather than to die cut them!
