Louise has chosen a fun 'Christmas Animals' theme for the 52 {C}CT challenge this week.
I've opted to use my cute Penny Black 'Reindeers' stamp which hasn't seen ink for a very long time. I stamped onto watercolour paper, used inks and a blender pen to colour and I added Crystal Effects to each nose to make them shiny. I cut red and black Fishtail Flag banners to mount my stamped panel onto and I added punched circles and a red button. I made a Baja Breeze DL size card, stamped the sentiment and used my Borders Scoring plate to emboss the wavy pattern along the right hand side. I applied some 2-way glue inside the pattern and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds glitter on so it's lovely and sparkly.
Some Baja Breeze and Real Red stamping for inside the card and the envelope finished everything off. The border stamp is the retired SU! 'So Swirly' wheel stamp which is another stamp I haven't used for ages. As with all my wheels it's been converted to a cling mount stamp 'cos I'm rubbish at using wheels!
I hope you'll join in with this fun 52 {C}CT challenge, I'd love to visit your blogs to see what you make! The rest of the DT will have some great Christmas animal cards to inspire you so do check them out!

Great card as always Ruth. Love that reindeer stamp...so cute.
Wonderful! I really like the image and the glossy noses give so much dimension. I love how the red button echoes Rudolf's shiny red nose. The envelope and card are just as lovely!
Very cute card, Ruth. Love the border embossing and I love that you decorated the inside and the envelope too! Great job!
A beautiful card Ruth - love the swirly border too - Jacqueline xx
The reindeer are so festive and darling! I like how you've finished off the inside of the card and the envelope to coordinate. Excellently done!
Love your stack of Rudolphs and the shiny button is like a big red Rudolph nose! Hope you had fun with the challenge!
