To keep the leaves popped up I've placed half a dimensional with the backing paper still on behind each leaf. The scalloped circle and flower button are also popped up. I thought ric rac would make a great trim to go with the buttons so I used a Sizzix Decorative Strip die for that. I was so chuffed to find that the Curly Cute happy birthday sentiment is the perfect size for the largest Spellbinder's Labels Trio die! I punched a Marina Mist 1/16" circle as a dot for the i.
Then it was time to stamp the envelope and the inside of the card. Even though I've popped up elements this card will still fit easily in an envelope for posting which it wouldn't have if I'd used real buttons!
