February SU! Stamper's Ten Make & Take Projects

These are the three projects we made at Joanne's SU! Stamper's Ten Make & Take evening. Well, actually, I finished most of mine at home! There's a diaper fold pouch and two cards.

The diaper fold pouch uses a 6" square piece of Tea Party DSP. They're so easy and there's no gluing. You can make them any size so long as you use a square. Joanne gave us all a bag of Mini Eggs to put in our pouches. We used the tag punches to make the decoration on the front and the Word Window punch to make the tie around the top of the bag.

There's a Diaper Fold Pouch tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers here - the page will open in a new window. Joanne had us do an extra step - after the pouch is folded, insert your fingers into the pouch and wiggle them a bit and then rub the tip of your forefinger along the crease at the bottom of the pouch. This makes the pouch dimensional rather than the flat pouch seen on the SCS tutorial.

Then we made this birthday card using the gifts stamp and happy birthday sentiment from the Happy Moments SAB set. The colour combo is Night of Navy, Kraft and white. We coloured using Night of Navy and Ruby Red Watercolour Wonder Crayons and an aquapainter. The gifts are wrapped with silver elastic cord and are popped up. White gel pen detailing was added to the Kraft panel.

This is the second card we made. It uses the gorgeous Baroque Motifs set. On her card, Joanne had stamped the small flower from the Baroque Motifs set and cut them out. As I made my card at home I did things a bit differently. I used a flower stamp from the One of a Kind set so that I could punch them out with the Boho Blossoms punch instead of cutting them out. The flowers on the flourish are all popped up. I really love this Olive, Eggplant and Vanilla colour combo, it's one of my faves!
