Monday's CAS57 challenge on Splitcoast Stampers was to layer two different shapes on a card while still keeping it CAS. I've used Nestie circle and Labels One dies for my two different shapes.
I coloured the owl with Copic markers and cut him out. I stamped a woodgrain stamp on the circle but when I placed the owl over the top he didn't look quite right, he needed anchoring. So I went out into the garden to find a tiny twig for him to stand on. After gluing on the twig, I popped up the owl with foam pads and added a few punched leaf shapes.
My hubby Owen has a job interview on Wednesday so I gave him this card to wish him the very best of luck. Keep your fingers crossed for him please!
